Summary

When connecting to a S7-1200 or S7-1500 CPU using ‘Add New Connection‘ in AP Historian, make sure “Permit access with PUT/GET communication from remote partner” is enabled. Otherwise AP Historian can’t connect to the given CPU.

Procedure

Step 1: In TIA Portal go to the CPU’s “Protection & Security” and open the “Connection mechanisms” panel. Tick ”
Permit access with PUT/GET communication from remote partner”.

Step 2: Download the changes to the CPU.
