Add New Connection

The ‘Add/Edit Connection’ panel helps the user configuring a new connection or editing an existing connection in a very user-friendly way.

The user can open the ‘Add/Edit Connection‘ panel by clicking the ‘Add New Connection’ icon to create a new connection or by clicking the ‘Edit Connection’ icon to edit an existing connection.

After adding a new connection, a new tag can be added to the connection.

The ‘Add/Edit Connection’ panel consists of several tabs. An overview of the tabs with descriptions is shown below.

The general tab allows the user to set or edit the general parameters of the connection.

  • Enable Connection: Allows the user to enable or disable the connection. The connection is enabled by default.
  • Connection Identifier: Specifies the identification of the connection.
  • Connection Location: Specifies the location of the connection.

The connection tab allows the user to define the connection settings for the connection.
