Summary

The ‘Search Tag’ panel helps the user choosing a tag from the Automation Portal Historian. The ‘Search Tag’ panel is especially useful when using the taskpanes to configure an Automation Portal Excel function.

The user can open the ‘Search Tag’ panel using the magnifying glass icon shown near a tag field.

Basic Search Tab

The ‘Basic Search’ tab allows the user to easily select a tag from the tag list. The ‘Search Tag’ field can be used to search a specific tag in the tag list. When clicking ‘OK’, the tag will be shown in the taskpane.
