During the installation of the Automation Portal Excel Add-in, the ribbon is added to your Microsoft Excel. The ribbon gives access to the task panes, help section and many more.
The ‘Current Data’ tab gives access to the read current value taskpane with associated read function. The ‘Archive Data’ tab gives access to the archive data taskpanes: read archive value and read time series, with associated archive data functions.
The ‘Write Data’ tab provides access to the write value taskpane with associated write function. The ‘Push Values’ button writes the values to their tags where the ‘On Push Values Click’ mode is selected.
The ‘Update’ tab allows to enable and disable the automatic update.
The ‘Resources’ tab provides access to the online ‘Help’ pages and other resources.
